Privacy policy

HomeBridge Properties Pvt Ltd ("HomeBridge", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who can see it and the choices you have, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, phone number, country and city.
• Property details from owners: address, photos, rent or price, and private notes for our team.
• Requirements from tenants and buyers: budget, preferred areas, size and must-haves.
• Enquiries you send through our forms, WhatsApp or email.
• Documents for a transaction, such as ID, employment proof or ownership papers, collected only when you go ahead with a rental, stay, sale or booking.
• Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, and basic server logs for security.

How we use it

We use your data only to provide our services: to review listings, match tenants, buyers and guests with homes, arrange visits, prepare agreements, collect and pay out rent, keep records required by law, and contact you about homes or requirements you liked or saved. We do not sell your data and do not use it for unrelated advertising.

Who can see your details

Your phone number and email are never shown to other owners, tenants or buyers. Only HomeBridge coordinators and admins can see them. Listings show property details and photos only, and requirements are shown to owners without your name or contact details.

We share data only when needed to deliver a service you asked for, or when the law requires it: for example with the other party once you agree to proceed, with a developer when you ask us to book a new-project home, with booking platforms for short stays, with service providers who host our website and email, and with government authorities such as for agreement registration or guest reporting.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is active. Agreements, invoices and payment records are kept for as long as tax and other laws require. Other data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw consent for future contact at any time. You can also nominate a person to act for you. Email contact@homebridge.in and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Passwords are stored as secure one-way hashes, the website uses HTTPS, and staff access is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us at once if you suspect misuse of your account.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
